First FutureMARES stakeholder meeting

The FutureMARES project hosted its first stakeholder meeting online on 22 October.

In it stakeholders across Europe gathered to discuss the FutureMARES future scenarios, helping to discuss how society, commerce, and lawmaking can affect how the world reacts to climate change.

Stakeholders were asked to consider the future Political, Economic and Social effects of our three scenarios; Global Markets, Global Sustainability and National Enterprise.

These discussions will then help FutureMARES to refine the scenarios when doing economic modelling and policy recommendations.

FutureMARES plans to continue these discussions in future stakeholder sessions.
